My grandmother brewed her own face wash from gram flour, turmeric and rose water. Her shampoo was hibiscus leaves crushed with reetha. Nothing in her routine had a label or an ingredient list — but my mother's skin and hair, at sixty, looked like mine at thirty.
Utkrisht began in 2018 to bring those recipes back. Not as nostalgia, but as the working pharmacy they always were. We make every formulation in our KVIC-certified village units, lead with one herb at a time, and never blend more than is necessary.
